Descripción:	Die Brüder Burn wurden wegen diverser Morde zum Tode auf dem elektrischen Stuhl verurteilt. Einem der beiden gelingt es, während der Hinrichtung zu fliehen, der andere stirbt. Mad Dog Burn kehrt zu seiner alten Bande zurück und terrorisiert fortan Metro-City. Die junge Polizistin Alyssa wird auf ihn angesetzt, doch sie wird enttarnt und von Mad Dog ermordet. Ihr Körper wird jedoch für das sogenannte Lazarus-Projekt verwendet. Sie wird mit Hilfe einer bionischen Nährlösung in einen perfekten Krieger verwandelt. So nimmt sie den Kampf gegen Mad Dog auf. In dieser Gestalt hat sie, bis auf ihre Rachsucht, keinerlei Emotionen. Doch als sie auf ihrer Mission ein Kind in Gefahr bringt und so die Bürgermeisterin in ein schlechtes Licht rückt, werden umgehend die Mittel für das Projekt Lazarus gestrichen. Alyssa hat nur noch wenige Stunden, um Mad Dog endgültig zur Strecke zu bringen, bevor sie selbst sterben muss..
